It was from that day onwards, Julie realised that promises are to be kept and not broken . Little did she know, there was an angel who promised to look after her until the day she dies.

They were childhood sweethearts from the day they first laid eyes on each other . No one could ever imagine Julie and Aaron without each other . Bestfriends ever since they were 3 years old , their friendship soon blossom until they became high school lovers . From the same kindergarten to the same elementary school and all through high school and college , they were inseparable . Until one day, Aaron decided to propose to Julie .

Life was a bed of roses for the two lovebirds . Everything was going perfectly fine . Life was a smooth ride for both of them. Aaron had a stable job and so did Julie . Together, they build a house not far from where they used to live . A simple and ordinary house yet it had something rather special when you look at it. It was from the day they exchanged their vows and walked down the aisle , Julie realised that she had met her love of her life or more likely known as her soulmate.

Time flew by without both of them realising that they had already tied the knot for 5 years. Julie was stunned to hear the news about Aaron's work transfer to Europe . She realised that she wanted to go and follow her husband there . Unfortunately , the procedure wasn't as easy as ABC. However,the real truth was that, Aaron's work transfer to Europe was just a cover up for Aaron to be away from her beloved wife . He kept a secret from Julie knowing that if she knew about it ,she would be even more devastated so he decided to keep it quiet. This way, Julie would not suffer to see him dying from this cronic brain tumor. His love for Julie was so deep that he could actually make a drastic decision to be away from his wife.

Distance was never an issue for both of them to still communicate with each other . Until the unthinkable happened . One night, when Julie was sleeping, she was woken up by a strange 2 a.m phone call . It was from not other than Dave, Aaron's bestfriend . Her jaw dropped when she heard the news that Aaron had just passed away . Tears kept falling from her face . She screamed and ran as quickly to her mum's house and cried her heart out . Then it hit her, the reality , the unexpected truth. Aaron was gone forever and he will never return. She could not sleep thinking of her husband's death . She kept blaming on herself and she kept screaming that it was all her fault for not being there with him when he had suffered from the disease . Blanklessly she thought, why wouldn't Aaron just tell her about the tumor so she could spend every single day with him like it was his last day on earth?

Devastated by Aaron's death, Julie tried her hardest to move on and face the reality. With the help from her friends, and her noisy and loving family,Julie finds herself being braver to live again although knowing that Aaron wasn't there anymore to look after her . Memories of them being together kept ringing in her head but she remains optimistic although inside she suffers .After a week of her husband's death, Julie received a phone call from her mother . She said " Julie dear, there is a box of envelopes addressed to you . Maybe it's from work . It's written here The List ." Julie dropped the phone . The first thing that came to her mind was not long ago, Aaron once told Julie that he would write a list of the little things that Julie used to disdain . It was rather obfuscate that Aaron would mail her letters since he is now gone.

It was a nerve wrecking moment when Julie decided to open the first envelope. She took a deep breathe and started reading the first letter from Aaron. He wrote " Dear Julie, I know you are distraught now knowing that I am gone. Nevertheless , I want you to promise me that you'll be strong even without me. Dear love, this numerous amount of letters I'm writing to you are my promises in the form of words to let you know that I will always be here to look after you through thick and thin. Never give up on life and take note that I will always love you. I promise you that . "
